Boston University MFA Painting 2026 — Steven Baldino, Scout Curtin, Samantha Hayslett, Leah Nashel, Kasey Ott, Raquel Philippe, Alessandra Pozzuoli, Anna Pugh, Young one (Hayoung Cheon)
May 14 – June 5, 2026
Opening reception: Thursday, May 14, 6–8 PM
Group exhibition of the nine-artist BU MFA Painting 2026 graduating cohort. The title—Latin for “solid ground”—frames painting as a shared terrain. One half of the cohort (Philippe, Pugh, Pozzuoli, Cheon) works with memory, gesture, and texture; the other half (Baldino, Curtin, Hayslett, Ott, Nashel) starts from observation and filters it through distortion and translation.
Into the Garden on view
Carly Glovinski
April 23 – June 6, 2026
Glovinski's third solo show here explores the intersection of studio practice and gardening. New painting-focused works on canvas—her return to canvas after nearly two decades—draw from three gardens in Maine, featuring pressed flowers, botanical specimens, and washy gestural brushwork.

A continuation of a deeply personal photographic inquiry. Spanning works produced after the publication of her monograph Semaphore, the exhibition traces an evolving visual language shaped by the artist's lived experience with Parkinson's disease.
